About CO2 Australia

Invest in natural capital

We are a team of passionate and committed ecologists, environmental scientists, carbon project managers and field-based project officers.

We’re dedicated to supporting clients to participate in and benefit from the ever-changing carbon and ecosystem markets, through innovative and industry-leading approaches to environmental services.

We’re leading the carbon projects market in native regrowth and large-scale reforestation, from planting trees to generating carbon credits, but carbon is not all we do.

We provide professional expertise including environmental advisory services, land management and carbon services to clients ranging from governments to corporates to landholders.

Investing in your business shouldn’t cost the environment

We’re committed to actively supporting the integrity of our natural environment and ecological restoration. Explore our certifications and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Innovation to create value now and into the future

We provide advisory services across carbon feasibility studies and project implementation, compliance auditing, environmental legislation, offset establishment and management, and natural capital accounting.

Biodiversity

We’re one of the few companies that can offer end-to-end ecological services. We manage biodiversity offsets through impact analysis, offset identification and assessment, preparation of strategies and legal documentation, and management and monitoring of offset areas.

Carbon

Commercial solutions to manage carbon emissions now and into the future. We support businesses operating in emissions intensive industries to reduce carbon liabilities through assessing carbon project feasibility, cost-effective carbon credit offsets, carbon scheme compliance management, and data collection and reporting.

Training

Training workshops for anyone wanting to strengthen or refresh their knowledge of Queensland vegetation identification and assessment, combining classroom-based theory and learning activities with practical application in the field.

Land management

We have contracted projects in restoration, regeneration, tree planting, soil and waterways care. As part of our carbon delivery services, CO2 Australia owns and manages a carbon estate, located primarily in central New South Wales. These properties combine agricultural activities with storage of carbon stocks and provide agistment opportunities for our regional neighbours. Contact us to find out more.

Reconciliation Action Plan

CO2 Australia acknowledges Traditional Owners and Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises their ongoing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.

As part of this, we’re excited to be developing a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) through Reconciliation Australia. Due in September 2024, our Reflect RAP will involve developing relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, and further scoping our sphere of influence to meaningfully engage in reconciliation.
